What I love most about photographing Kyliegh and Brian is how natural everything feels. They don’t need heavy posing or direction. The way they interact, the way they laugh, the way they just exist together, it tells the story for me. My job is just to notice it and capture it as it happens.
That’s really what I focus on during every couples session, especially destination sessions like this. Not forcing moments, but creating space for real ones to happen.
Dead Horse Point gave us the dreamiest backdrop, but what made this session meaningful wasn’t just the location. It was the history. The fact that we’ve done this before, and that every time feels like another chapter instead of a one-time shoot.
Places like Moab and Dead Horse Point will always be stunning, but it’s the people you photograph there that give it meaning.
Kyliegh and Brian, I’m so grateful for you guys. For trusting me again, for showing up as yourselves, and for continuing to invite me into your story.
I already can’t wait for the next one.
