Hawaii Wedding at Bayer Estate | Kelly + Ethan

    2023.    ✨
That was the year Kelly and Ethan hired me to photograph their wedding in Hawaii.
And now here we are, two years later, still counting down life together with them in a way that feels so much deeper than just “photographer and client.”
Some weddings stay with you… this was one of them.
A Wedding in Hawaii That Felt Like More
From the moment I met Kelly and Ethan, it felt easy. Natural. Like I had known them longer than just a wedding day.
Their day at Bayer Estate in Hawaii was full of that kind of energy, the kind you can’t fake. The kind where everyone there isn’t just attending, they’re fully present.
There was so much love surrounding them. Not just in the big moments, but in the quiet ones too, the in-between glances, the laughter, the way everyone showed up for them.
The Kind of Love You Feel, Not Just See
What I loved most about their wedding wasn’t just how beautiful it was (because it was), it was how it felt.
You could feel the joy.
You could feel the connection.
You could feel that this wasn’t just a wedding, it was the beginning of something really real.
Those are the moments I chase as a photographer. The ones that don’t need direction. The ones that just happen.
Ending the Night in the Rain
And then… the rain. 🌴✨
Instead of running from it, they leaned into it.
Dancing, laughing, completely in their own world.
It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire day.
Unplanned, a little wild, and honestly… perfect.
That’s the kind of thing you never forget.
Two Years Later
Now, two years later, it’s still one of those weddings I think about.
Not just because of the location, or how beautiful everything looked…
but because of them.
Kelly and Ethan, thank you for trusting me with something so important.
And for letting me be a part of a day that I’ll always carry with me.
There are so many more photos from this day that I still love, and I can’t wait to share more of them.
Planning Your Own Destination Wedding
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Hawaii (or anywhere in the world), I’m here for it.
I don’t just show up and take photos, I help you create something that actually feels like you. Something you’ll look back on and feel, not just see.
